This summer, Collins Brown Barkett formally welcomed P. Todd Kennedy to our firm as Of Counsel. Mr. Kennedy is an AV-rated lawyer who began practicing in 1992. He focuses his practice on sophisticated estate and tax planning strategies for high-net-worth individuals and families throughout Florida.
Mr. Kennedy’s areas of practice include complex estate planning, asset protection planning, probate administration, trust administration, family office administration, and estate and business succession planning.
Mr. Kennedy graduated with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration from Stetson University in 1988. Thereafter, Mr. Kennedy earned his Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law in 1991 and his Master of Laws (LL.M) in taxation from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 1992.
Mr. Kennedy is a member of the Florida Bar and is admitted to practice before the Tax Court of the United States. He is also a member of the Tax Law and Business Law Sections of the Florida Bar.
In addition to the law practice, Mr. Kennedy is actively involved in various charitable and civic organizations, including Food For The Poor, Inc. in Coconut Creek, Florida, where he has served on the Board since 2002 and as its Chairman since 2003.
